The Beruniy 200 MW Wind Farm + 200MWh BESS + 220kV 44 km OHTL project is a greenfield Independent Power Project IPP that is developed by ACWA Power in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Republic of Uzbekistan. The project is based on PPP law and publicly tendered wind project.

The project will be located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and will be developed as a ‘Build, Own, Operate, Transfer’ project. ACWA Power will take the lead in the construction, engineering, operation and maintenance of the plant.

We are looking for Planning Manager who will:

• Lead of development of the Level 3 Baseline Schedule and project control procedures in coordination with PEOS team
• Detailed analysis and continuous understanding/implementation of the PPA and EPC Contracts in all related to planning and reporting.
• Continuous monitoring of the Critical Path activities, with special attention to implementation of proper milestones and KPIs for anticipated warning to the Project Management team, focusing on derisking Project in coordination with PEOS team.
• Ensure the proper implementation, together with the EPC Contractor, of the detailed project control tools, focusing on the preparation of the Level4 schedules and different detailed registers for proper monitoring progress in compliance of Project Management Specification.
• Review and comments to the Monthly progress report coming from the EPC Contractor, with special focus on all contractual issues that can be a risk for the Project Company or the schedule itself.
• Related to the reporting to the Off-taker, responsibility of preparing the monthly progress report to the Off-taker and the different presentations for the monthly progress meeting. Additionally, preparation of the different reports to Acwa Power, lenders or stakeholders.
• In the event that an EOT claim is arising in the project, responsible to prepare/analyze/configure the different analysis in front of the EPC & Off-taker.
• Project management and planning skills
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or demonstrable equivalent
• PMP or CAPM Certification or equivalent
• Experience in project scheduling using Primavera P6
• 12 years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling of large projects, with at least 2 projects fully completed in Senior roles.
• 3 years of supervisory role in Planning & Scheduling in Renewable Energy Projects
